Pictured at left is an example of a load cell application. The tank shown holds materials
requiring precise measuring and batching control. To meet these needs, the owner used
four quality PR6211 load cells from GWT (Sartorious). The tank stands braced
on four legs, each of which rest on one of the load cells.
The load cells measure weight with an extremely high degree of precision. The system is
completed with a wall mounted PR1713 batch controller, shown left.
The batch controller automates the process by executing a command action when the material level
in the tank reaches a predetermined weight. The wall mount controller is easy to
program and epitomizes high standards of quality. The indicator also exemplifies the small cost
required for a huge investment in efficiency levels and productivity.
